MESCoNexus

Which line made what today, and what is holding up the order? MESCoNexus reads your machines, follows every order and every unit, and shows the answer in a browser. It works with SAP or without it.

Planning on AutoPilot

When MRP is done, MESCoNexus proposes the daily plan and the schedule for every machine and line from your standard times, process plans and bottleneck.

  • Drag a step to see what it does to late orders.
  • Ask where a rush order fits.
  • Create the orders in one click.

What it does

Plan

Planning and materials

Master schedule, MRP and capacity planning from one set of data. Stock and open orders are netted off, lot sizes and lead times applied, and shortages listed with their value. Sub-assembly orders are raised only for what stock and work in progress do not cover. Each order shows its overall progress and its bottleneck.

Order

Orders, routing and recipes

Production orders and batches get automatic 10-digit numbers. Process plans hold the step order, including which steps must finish first. Work instructions and recipes belong to the step, and recipe setpoints can be written to the PLC. A schedule board and a dispatch list show what runs where.

Connect

Machine connectivity

Reads Modbus, Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley EtherNet/IP, MTConnect, OPC UA and MQTT through a small gateway program on the plant network. Tags are linked to what they mean: good count, reject count, cycle start or end, serial number, process parameter. A live debug page shows every value as the machine sends it.

Run

Shop floor

Operators open a batch session and watch counts, machine values and serial numbers update live. The batch closes when the planned quantity is made. Andon calls, machine state with stop reasons, and shifts are included. Operators clock in by machine, so cycle time and productivity are measured per person. Maintenance schedules and PM records live in the same system.

Label

Labels and printers

Serial and batch labels with a Code 128 or QR code. Print from the browser, or send straight to network label printers over TCP in ZPL. Set up as many printers as you have, one per line or packing area, and choose one at print time.

Check

Quality control

Inspection plans, QA acceptance and final acceptance before goods go to stock. SPC charts warn when a process starts to drift. A failed inspection raises a non-conformance, and CAPA follows the fix through to closure.

Trace

Traceability

Every unit has a serial number, taken from the machine when the PLC provides it. See the readings recorded at each step and the material lots and components used there. Find every unit made from a given lot, or the lots behind a given unit.

Records

Quality system

Controlled documents with revisions and review dates, approval routes and electronic signatures. Calibration, complaints with 8D, supplier corrective actions and change control. Risks with FMEA, control plans, internal audits and management review.

Measure

Performance and cost

OEE from availability, performance and quality, using ideal cycle times. Downtime by reason code, MTBF, and cost tracking per order. BOM weight and cost reports, part comparison and production reports. Ask the analytics agent a question in plain words.

Integrate

Your other systems

SAP orders come in and confirmations go back. A REST API and webhooks cover everything else. Any table on any screen downloads to Excel. Times show in the server's local time. Screens are available in English, Hindi and Tamil.

Control

Access and hosting

Define your own roles, with view, edit and delete rights for each screen. One company can run many plants, each with its own database. Machine intake and planning can run as separate services. Host it on your own Windows server or on ours.

Designed for real plants

100,000serial numbers a day, kept 3 years

How we differ from SAP and Siemens MES platforms

MESCoNexus covers planning, machine data, quality and traceability in the browser. It connects to SAP if you run it, and works without SAP if you do not.

Best fit Plants on any ERP, or none. One line to many plants. Companies whose business already runs on SAP S/4HANA or ECC. Discrete makers that also use Siemens PLM and automation.
Where it runs Your own Windows server, or ours. A cloud service on SAP Business Technology Platform. Installed by release, with a central install for many plants.
ERP link SAP orders in and confirmations out. REST API and webhooks for any other ERP. Built around exchanging orders, BOMs and results with SAP. Works alongside ERP and PLM systems.
Machine data PLC gateway for Modbus, S7, EtherNet/IP and MTConnect, plus OPC UA and MQTT. All included. A production connector to IIoT devices and PLCs. Shopfloor Connect for machines.
Your data Each plant has its own database on your server. Hosted on SAP's cloud; EU data centres are offered. Installed on your own infrastructure.
Scope Planning, shop floor, quality system, traceability and labels in one product. Wide suite. Confirm which modules and connectors you need. Wide suite. Confirm which modules and connectors you need.
